William Wayne Co-Founder & Senior Managing Director

William Wayne founded W Capital Partners and serves as its Senior Managing Director. Mr. Wayne has been growing and leading companies since 1965. As Senior Director of W Capital Partners, Mr. Wayne provides strategic financial and operating advice to the chief executives, boards of directors, senior lenders and other constituents of major corporations, which have included Rockwell, Spectron Microsystems, Mincron Corporation, and Tekelec, Inc.

Mr. Wayne has over 35 years experience serving public and privately owned companies with multinational operations including industrial suppliers, distributors, high-tech firms and service organizations. As an early player and a recognized expert in corporate turnarounds, Mr. Wayne is known for his ability to solve complex challenges facing major corporations and is frequently consulted by CEOs, boards of directors, investors, and major shareholders. He brings a consensus building approach to corporate turnaround that recognizes the needs of all constituents involved.

Mr. Wayne has a strong history of improving financial standings and liquidity opportunities for private and public companies, and has assisted CEO's achieve liquidity events in record time. Mr. Wayne has saved many companies from the brink of bankruptcy and has successfully managed the sale of numerous public and private entities.

He has held management positions in publicly registered and private corporations that include chief executive officer, chairman, president, general manager, vice president and treasurer.

He holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and is a Certified Public Accountant and a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Texas.
